You can access it here: <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/kateknit">http://www.etsy.com/shop/kateknit</a><br /><br />Right now I have primarily fine art nature photographs but I plan on branching out soon.<br /><br />Upcoming projects (hopefully): lomography, vintage editing, wood block transfers, ttv (through the viewfinder) photography<br /><br />"Through the Viewfinder" might sound like a dumb way of saying "plain photography" because most every camera has a viewfinder. But this is actually the practise of taking a picture through TWO viewfinders. An older, vintage camera (often with a large viewfinder accessed from the top of the camera) is used to compose the desired image and when the image is set up, the photographer aims his/her primary camera (often digital camera) so that he/she can see the first viewfinder (and all that is sees) in the second one. This is a faster and economical way of getting your vintage prints online. The image ends up with a rough look (depending on how grimy the lens on the vintage camera is) and it can be cropped to leave a nice black border on the photo.<div class="blogger-post-footer">"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

I didn't have a whole lot of success with it but it was fun! I can't remember actively thinking about it until I had the opportunity to take the course in high school and it fascinated me. I remember wondering how some people could try and fit photography, or art for that matter, in a box. The 'traditionalist' photographers said it had to be done one way and only one way. Portraits were a big deal. But didn't God create everything in beauty? As far as I'm concerned, you can't do one thing in this world without it being classified as an art. Construction, mining, teaching, you name it and then research it. You will find there is something beautiful in absolutely everything. God painted it, He sculpted it, He dotted the "i's" and crossed the "t's" The photographer simply puts it in a frame.<div class="blogger-post-footer">"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Witness to friends, family, and strangers with the true Biblical method that Jesus used himself in Matthew 19 and Luke 18. The people at Living Waters ( <a href="http://www.livingwaters.com/">http://www.livingwaters.com/</a> ) make a video calle<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 145px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgS6r-4adISu48T6dTrdzZbziqBDygwBsYO4kLKAjnVpnhbina9HybDxl1FbyMy6GTm0e_dTOSxDDTFv4h0LLfRVJa9IgW2hRY4957nypPUR1dnpCy0x1mMLeEIWZ5lMGh5Zk7p3xpX3xA/s200/p1.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5339597327519881842" />d "Hell's Best Kept Secret" which outlines this method. They also have a course you can get through their site to help build your confidence (this video is included among others). Of course, start by reading the passages! Living Waters also has a variety of Gospel tracts. I really like the "Are you a good Person?" tract. I find it to be humorous, and it doesn't portray the unbeliever as an absolute demon. Yet it is very clear, showing that ANY sin is a violation of God's law and there MUST be consequences. Who paid those consequences is the real kicker and certainly the whole point of the salvation message itself. The Good news IS presented very well in my opinion. Also, it is available in English, French, and Spanish now.<div><div><br /></div><div><div></div></div></div><div><br /></div><div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:large;">Something else</span></span> you can do for the mission field is make parachutes! GALCOM is an organization that sends the Gospel message via Christian radio to people in areas where it is hard to get missionaries in. They put up towers all over the world to transmit the Gospel and make solar radios with a back-up set of batteries to deliver it to the people. They send the radios and tracts from an airplane in parachutes. That's where we come in. We can make the parachutes!</div><div><a href="http://www.galcom.org/">http://www.galcom.org/</a> </div><div> </div><div>I found a parachute pattern in "Voice of the Martyrs" magazine and had heard about a man sending parachutes into guerilla camps in Colombia. Many of their soldiers are c</div><div>aptives themselves and are in need of a Saviour as well. It's simply the walk of a Christian trying to fulfill her God-given purpose. </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">I want all non-Christians to know that a Christian is SUPPOSED to be humble, knowing the Truth that is in the Bible and spreading it! We know that the Truth is of God and found in His Book. We did not author it and do not understand every part of it. The amazing thing is that God tells us:</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;">"<span class="Apple-style-span" style=" ;font-family:Verdana;font-size:13px;">Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?"</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" ;font-family:Verdana;font-size:13px;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" ;font-family:Verdana;font-size:13px;">Matthew 7:7-11</span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" ;font-family:Verdana;font-size:13px;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" ;font-family:Verdana;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style=" ;font-family:arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">So we can know that when we come across something in the Bible that we don't understand</span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"> </span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:arial;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;">(for whatever reason), that God is faithful and He wants you to understand His Word. If He didn't, He wouldn't have given it to us in the first place. If we express interest in His Word and wholeheartedly try to understand it with prayer, God in all His mercy and grace will give us the understanding.</span></span></span></div><div class="blogger-post-footer">"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
